Elephant Ran Amok

The tusker Pattambi Ayyappan brought for Elapully Marriyamman Temple Festival ran amok while returning from the temple festival on Thursday morning. Attempt by its two mahouts to bring down it under control failed. After over two hours, the mahouts managed to bring the elephant and control and tethered it to a tree. It was later taken in a lorry from Elappully.
